HIA Advises Passengers to Check-In Online

Qatar Now -- As Eid al-Fitr holiday is approaching, Hamad International Airport (HIA) has made the following statement:

To continue enjoying comfortable and seamless travel through Hamad International Airport, we advie our departing passengers travelling during the Eid period to be sure to check-in online, arrive 3 hours prior to your flight and use the E-gates to avoid queues. Please be reminded that check-in will close 60 minutes prior to departure.


To assist general public who will be dropping off or collecting passengers, HIA has extended complimentary parking at the short-term car park for the first one hour, until 28th June 2017, and will cost QAR5 per hour thereafter.


Passengers also have the option of parking their vehicles at the airport’s long-term car park which provides customers with a regular shuttle service to the main terminal.


Only passengers holding valid tickets and passports will be allowed access into the departures check-in hall until 28th June 2017.
