The Peninsula -- A Guinness world record attempt for the largest parachute formation will be attempted at Darb Al Saai tomorrow.
The attempt by the Joint Special Forces Paratroopers of the Ministry of Defense will be at 5:00 pm. This announcement was made by the Ministry of Defense on its social media account.
The Ministry of Defense is participating in Darb Al Saai for the second time and got the biggest pavilion this year, hosting several activities and showcasing many military equipment.
The objective of the pavilion is to apprise visitors of the role the ministry is playing in defending the country, and to show its latest equipment.
The pavilion also includes educational and awareness programs for children as well as practical exercises on self-defense, in addition to the exercises of barriers and descent from high buildings, fitness exercises, laser fighting exercises and other activities.
There are many computers and programs in the pavilion to teach children how to command warships, aircraft and encourage critical thinking.
