Temporary Closure Planned on Part of Omar Bin Al-Khattab St

Qatar Tribune -- The Public Works Authority - Ashghal has implemented a temporary closure on Omar Bin Al-Khattab Street, in both directions between Fareej Kulaib Roundabout and Al-Faihani Street to complete works of converting Fareej Kulaib Roundabout into a signal-controlled intersection.
The new intersection is planned to open to traffic with the start of the new school year.
The closure, which started on Monday, August 13, will last for two weeks, and is being implemented in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic. During the period, Al-Faihani Street and neighboring local roads can be used to reach the required destinations.
Ashghal will install road signs to guide motorists about the closure.
Ashghal has requested all road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
