Al Qarma Beach Garden to Open Soon

The Peninsula -- Al-Khor and Al-Thakhira Municipality will soon open Al Qarma Beach Garden, located east of Al-Khor city, established with the support of Ras Laffan Industrial City Community Outreach Programme.
As per the signboard outside the new park, only women and children under the age of 10 will be allowed inside. The park will not allow barbeque, pets or playing football.
Spread out at an area of 8,000 meters, including 4,000 meters of greenery and 3,000 meters of clean beach, the park has a plantation of Qorm (Avicennia) trees. It has also been equipped with various games as well as many umbrellas made of bamboo trees offering shade.
